His expertise spans hospitals, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, commercial, and institutional buildings. his work has encompassed numerous high-profile projects in premier hospitals such as Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, City of Hope National Medical Center, Huntington Memorial Hospital, Keck Hospital of USC, UCI Medical Center, and St. Joseph Health System.

    Mr. Scott has 30+ years of experience in project management and mechanical system design.  Projects include healthcare, educational, commercial and institutional facilities located in twenty-three states and three foreign countries.  He specializes in design and control of mechanical systems in critical environments, such as surgical departments, isolation and protective environments, cGMP facilities, USP 797/800 environments and other specialized applications.

    Mrs. Petkova has 20+ years of experience in project management and mechanical system design with United Mechanical Consultants, Inc.  Projects include hospitals, USP 797 and 800 pharmacies, educational, commercial and institutional facilities located in two states (California and Arizona) and two foreign countries (Bulgaria and Russia).  Specialization is in design of mechanical, plumbing and medical gas systems in hospital and health care facilities.  Projects include healthcare, commercial, senior living and mixed-use facilities.  

  • Chavonnia Martin, P.E.

    Chavonnia Martin has worked with United Mechanical Consultants, Inc. for 7+ years.  Her experience includes project management and mechanical system design. Since joining UMC, Vonnie has assumed the role of BIM and CAD manager and is the engineer specialist in REVIT. She is responsible for the setup of BIM workflows within the design teams, creating and maintaining materials including new employee REVIT, managing BIM library and families, building and collecting REVIT families, creating and maintaining construction documents in Revit and CAD, and ensuring that BIM standards are maintained in the creation of the MEP Revit model.
